I have been in the fitness and wellness industry for 30 years. I began my journey as an athlete and personal trainer. My career as an endurance athlete has spanned all of those 30 years competing mainly in triathlon and running, but also in open water swimming and cycling. I’ve coached athletes from professionals and D1 college, to amateur and weekend warriors from a variety of sports including endurance sports to major team sports. In addition to working with athletes, I’ve worked as a health, nutrition, and fitness advisor for major international touring bands. My true joy comes from working with individuals whose main goal is a high quality of life through health, fitness, and wellness.
My focus has shifted over the years and I now approach training and lifestyle through the lens of longevity and wellness. As a lifelong athlete, I incorporate the sensibilities associated with training for performance with real world applications for health and wellness. My goal is to provide well rounded wellness coaching with emphasis on science based, holistic modalities that include specifically tailored exercise programming, nutrition coaching, and mindfulness training. I believe that consistency is key to getting results. Devising clear plans for progress is my forte.
As a health and wellness professional, I strive to provide coaching that embodies integrated lifestyle modalities. My expertise is often punctuated by a sense of humor. Training for life should be fun and should be met with passion as well as lightness. What my clients get is my dedication to a life well-lived with physical and mental health, fitness, and nutrition, as the cornerstones.
